Author Guidelines

  1. The Journal is published in Russian and in English. Articles can be written in either of these languages. Providing identical articles in both languages is a plus.

  2. The article sent to the editorial office must be limited to a maximum of 40 thousand printed characters (including spaces), a note, written speech, critic bibliographic work - to 20 thousand characters.

  3. Under the name of the article, authors' surnames and initials are printed together with the names of institutions and cities where they work. After that summary (150-200 words) in Russian and English is placed, key words (5-8 words and word expressions) and JEL Classification codes follow. In the summary must be stated the main new results contained in the article.

  4. The following information is placed in the note to the name of the article: "Contact information: author's surname and initials or in the event that there are several authors - surname and initials of the contact person, postal code and/or e-mail address".

  5. The Journal of the New Economic Association goes from September 1, 2016 the new system of articles' submission: all papers are accepted only in electronic form (see "Registration of Articles"). Text of the article should be saved in doc format and written in Times New Roman font, size 12. Tex format is also acceptable; in this case a pdf version of the file should also be provided in two variants - with and without surnames of the authors and reference to them (it is necessary for the purposes of sending the article to a reviewer). Pages should be numbered.

  6. Sections of the article should be numbered. Two-level numeration is acceptable.

  7. Formula numbers should be placed to the right in parentheses. If formulas are numerous independent numeration for each section is recommended.

  8. Each picture is accompanied by the number and the name placed above (e.g. Image 1). If needed notes under the pictures are possible.

  9. Each table is accompanied by the number and the name placed above (e.g. Table 1). Information on data source is placed under the table.

  10. If there are references to some literature, authors' surnames and year of publication (in parentheses) are provided in the text; it is also possible to state page numbers and sections, e.g. Ivanov (1999), p. 72, 75 or Sidorov, Petrov (2003), Chapter 3.

  11. Reference index is provided at the end of the article as a list without numeration. It should be arranged in alphabetical order, Russian names come first, names in foreign language follow. Bibliographic information in reference index is provided according to the following schemes.
