XIII International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development

On April 3-5, 2012, the XIII HSE International Aca­demic Conference on Economic and Social Development will be hosted by the National Research University — Higher School of Economics with support of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The Conference Program Committee is chaired by Professor Evgeny Yasin.

The plenary sessions of the conference will feature senior Russian Government officials including representatives of the Presidential Administration, high-level representatives of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the CEOs of several largest Russian and international companies.

Special issues of the Conference are "The strategy of socio-economic development of Russia until 2020 (Strategy 2020)" and "Economics, Law and Confidence". The plenary sessions, including selected honorary papers, sessions and round tables, will be devoted to the special issues of the Conference.
