7th International Conference on Applied Economics - Contemporary Issues in Economy

Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues,

we are pleased to invite you to the 7th International Conference on Applied Economics — Contemporary Issues in Economy under the title Growth Perspectives in Europe?  which is hosted by The Department of Economics at The Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland) on 24-25 May, 2013. The conference is organized in collaboration with the Polish Economic Society Branch in Torun, Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic), BA School of Business and Finance (Latvia), Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky Hryhoriy Skovoroda State Pedagogical University (Ukraine), Daugavpils University (Lithuania), University of Angers (France), University of Pablo de Olavide (Spain), University of Latvia (Latvia), Vilnius Gediminas Technological University (Lithuania).

The conference is addressed to economists from all the European Union countries and Eastern Europe. It aims to bring together economists form Western, Central and Eastern Europe to discuss issues in economics, finance and business management. We would like especially to encourage younger generation of scientists before and after PhD.

The conference language is English.

Main conference tracks include:

1. Macroeconomics; Microeconomics; Econometrics; International Economics

2. Financial markets; Labour markets; Institutions

3. Business environment; Management and Marketing.

Deadline for registration – 1 March 2013
